Your Furnace is How Old???
Recently, I had the opportunity to meet one of our new homeowners while checking on a furnace that HopeWorks had recently installed. I asked her to tell me about her old furnace. “That furnace was original to the house,” Mrs. Pullen told me. “My Husband bought the house in 1969 which makes the furnace 55 years old. I had a heating and air company out to check on it, and they told me that my furnace may or may not last another season. I have been a believer in Jesus for a long time, and God says you have to be patient. I said I am going to wait on the Lord because I know he will prevail for me, and He did!”
Mrs. Pullen called HopeWorks, and now she has a new energy efficient furnace that will last her for many years. It will also cost a whole lot less to use. “I have been truly blessed by HopeWorks helping me, not only by replacing my furnace, but by weatherizing my house as well. I am truly blessed,” she said with a grateful heart.
What a blessing it is to be able to provide for seniors around the state of Georgia with new gas furnaces and gas water heaters they would not otherwise be able to afford. In many cases, we are also able to weatherize their homes, making it more comfortable and saving on their energy bills. Your financial donations to HopeWorks help to spread these blessings all around the state. Thank you for giving these gifts of kindness through the work of HopeWorks.
